Thank you for visiting my web site. I offer therapeutic massage for men and women in the comfort of my Market Street office. Clients of all body types, races, and sexual orientations are welcome in my practice.
I have been a Certified Massage Therapist and member of
the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals since 2001, and have
worked in private practice since 2002. From 2003 - 2006 I taught
Swedish massage and Zen Shiatsu at the San Francisco School of Massage.
Swedish massage forms the core of my practice, with
deep tissue, trigger point, and sports massage techniques integrated to
meet each client's needs. I also offer Zen Shiatsu for those looking
for general relaxation, energetic balancing, or who are new to massage
and/or may not be comfortable removing their clothing. Breath work,
Tui Na, stretching and reiki may be integrated into both styles.
The focus of my work is in restoring the connection
and balance between body and mind. Following a brief
interview/assessment, the client and I will determine specific goals
for the session, which may include reducing chronic muscular tension,
increasing range of motion in joints, facilitating injury recovery,
restoring the body’s balance of energy (qi), or simply unwinding
from the demands of life. Regardless of the techniques employed in each
massage, the client always leaves feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and in
touch with their body.
